Shang's research interestsÌýbroadly focus on knowledge management, IT strategies, social media analysis, and data modeling and analytics.ÌýAdditionally, she has a particular interest in how information and technology can assist in the healthcare industry and influence health behaviors.ÌýHer work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Information & Management,ÌýIEEE Transactions on Engineering Management,ÌýJournal of Management and Organization,ÌýJournal of the Knowledge Economy,ÌýJournal of Information Systems Education,ÌýInternational Journal of Strategic Communication, andÌýInternational Journal of Knowledge Management. She has served as a reviewer for journals includingÌýInformation & Management,ÌýDecision Support Systems, Information Systems Frontiers,ÌýInternational Journal of Strategic Communication,ÌýVINE Journal of Information and Knowledge Management Systems, andÌýAsia Pacific Journal of Information Systems, as well as for various ISÌýconferences.
